Density Measurement Mass Flowmeters

CIC mass flowmeter consists of two measuring sub-units connected in series. An upstream unit measuring the volume flow and a downstream unit measuring a dielectric constant.

The density is derived from the measurement of the fluid dielectric constant. This information is processed by the equipment giving a final accuracy better than 0.8% of the mass flow, whatever the type of aviation fuel used.
